Vaccination Drive: Free With Ahar
In a bid to ensure safety of their patrons as well as employees in restaurants and bars, the Indian Hotel and Restaurant Association (AHAR), which has around 20,000 bars, restaurants, eateries and hotels as its members in the Mumbai metro region, has kickstarted its Covid – 19 vaccination drive in association with SRCC children’s hospital.
Women's Day Celebration
Sponsored a gathering of women domestic workers with a leadership. They expressed their rights and duties at work places. They were very happy that we gave due respect, regard and honored them. This entertainment was followed by some refreshments like tea and snacks at our Ola Vakkola banquet hall. They felt they were also equally important people.
Workshop For Benefits Of Running Marathon
This enthusiastic small crowd attended the discussions raptly. They understood the various benefits of a running marathon from the mental, physical and health care point of view. People at the end poured profuse thanks to the sponsor.
Fan Act
FANACT organized an event co-sponsored by CARE Foundation and venue partner Ola Vakkola Banquet Hall. This was open for all. Demonstrations of acting talents were visible from many young ones. Prizes and also participation certificates were awarded to the winners. It concluded very well in the end.
The Art Lovers Competition
This was largely attended by young talents on Drawing, Rangoli and then cooking expertise. Large family groups dominated the cooking scene. They won laurels from all. Here also winner’s trophy and participation certificates were adequately distributed. We hope to continue our social obligations in months and years to come with more vigor and vitality from the social groups.
CSR initiative for Women
We have been organizing “OLABAZAAR” at “OLA VAKKOLA BANQUET” exclusively run by women Entrepreneurs. The timings are between 6 pm to 9 pm. Our “Platform” offers opportunity for selling simple home made products. They showed that there is a great scope for women’s self-employment. By cutting across economic criteria, it offers chances to all. The response from the public has been encouraging. There were in total 25 stall setups displaying a variety of commercial products and attracted a large number of crowd.
